About
Jake Louderback Design works primarily with clients located in and around the San Francisco Bay Area. Our work covers a wide variety of areas including IDENTITY (ID), PRINT - PACKAGING (2-3D) and INTERACTIVE (4D) design with an emphasis on Flash animation.
Jake Louderback is the principal and chief designer of Jake Louderback Design.
My Professional Bio- Jake graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in English in ’89 and continued his education at the California Collage of Arts where he studied Graphic Design for two years in the early ‘90s. From there he spent time freelancing in San Francisco before becoming a founding member of the Agency.com SF office. He spent four years at Agency designing and art directing web sites and new media for such clients as Peete’s Coffee, Pacific Gas and Electric, Quantum Inc., Pac Bell, and Visa. After Agency imploded, he dusted himself off and took on an eclectic mix of contract work and clients that ranged from Apple Computer in Silicon Valley to Wente Vineyards far to the north before settling into being a Creative Director for Digital Think. At Digital Think, Jake was given the opportunity to combine his interests in interactive design, Flash and education. While at D.T., he often led teams that were scattered around the globe. During this time he also taught graphic and identity design at the San Francisco Academy of Art where his classes placed an emphasis on conceptual development and audience analysis. After Digital Think became Convergys, the creative focus shifted away from the creative and the domestic work force out-sourced oversees. Since then Jake has again found himself engaged in the world of freelance and client design.
Currently I’m engaged in both freelance and client work that that will lead toward the development of engaging visual/audio communications that not only help support business goals and initiatives but create innovative marketing, advertising and branding strategies that push beyond the expected. I have an intimate knowledge of both the creative and production process in both traditional and interactive media so as a freelancer an agency can expect a “swiss army knife” of capabilities and broad understanding of strategies and philosophies.
For my clients I can often fulfill complex jobs by myself or if necessary will build a team of dedicated professionals around one’s needs to create a lean, focused and open process that will deliver effective solutions to your visual communication issues.
