“My Big Sky”: Book Cover
Jack Boulware is a local San Francisco author who was writing two books for which he wanted cover designs that would be submitted to his publisher along with his completed manuscripts. “My Big Sky” is a memoir about the author’s experience growing up in Montana. The cover photo and graphic treatment reflects his feeling of being both tightly integrated with this community while also alienated and set apart by much of the custom and culture that surrounded him.
